BIOGRAFIA:

Boyd Holbrook is rapidly compiling an impressive resume of diverse roles.He has starred alongside several of the top actors working in Hollywood today and has a number of films slated for release. Holbrook stars opposite Terrence Howard and Thomas Hayden Church in the indie drama Cardboard Boxer, now in postproduction, and costars opposite Kristen Wiig and Bill Hader in the forthcoming Skeleton Twins, which premieres at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival. Other forthcoming releases include David Fincher’s Gone Girl, with Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike; Jane Got a Gun, with Natalie Portman and Ewan McGregor; and an as-yet-untitled Terrence Malick film costarring Ryan Gosling, Christian Bale, Michael Fassbender, Rooney Mara and Natalie Portman. Holbrook recently completed work on Scott Frank’s A Walk Among the Tombstones, starring opposite Liam Neeson as a troubled youth who turns to drugs in the face of depression. Holbrook is currently in production on the crime thriller Run All Night, alongside Liam Neeson, Genesis Rodriguez and Joel Kinnaman. Previously, Holbrook worked with Christian Bale and Zoe Saldana in Scott Cooper’s Out of the Furnace and Saoirse Ronan in Andrew Niccol’s The Host. Additional film credits include Gus Van Sant’s Milk, opposite Sean Penn and Josh Brolin; Vera Farmiga’s Higher Ground, with Farmiga and Josh Leonard; and Naomi Foner’s Very Good Girls, alongside Elizabeth Olsen, Dakota Fanning and Peter Saarsgard. On television, Holbrook co-starred in Steven Soderbergh’s acclaimed Liberace biopic Behind the Candelabra opposite Michael Douglas and Matt Damon. He played Liberace’s new loveinterest after longtime lover Scott Thorson fell out of favor with the eccentric entertainer. Other small-screen credits include Kevin Reynolds’ Hatfields & McCoys for the History Channel and Showtime’s The Big C. Among his other artistic endeavors, Holbrook is an avid sculptor. His work has been exhibited atvarious locations including the Rare Gallery in New York.
