BIOGRAFIA:
Award Winning Director Nunzio Fazio is a member of the Directors Guild of America. His films have won ten awards including: Best Director, Best Documentary and Best Social Commentary. A native of Miami, Nunzio attended the University of Miami where he studied and received a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Drama. In addition to being an accomplished director, Nunzio is a talented SAG actor. He currently portrays the role of J.D in the new series “Strangers in the Valley” and Slash in the upcoming feature film “Gemini Rising.” Additionally, he has played both Joe Pendleton and Kenickie in theatrical productions of “Heaven Can Wait” and “Grease.” Nunzio has directed a half a dozen films including award winners “Kenmore Ave” and “From the Midst of Pain”. He has produced several others including the Feature Film “Kissing Strangers,” the ABC specials “Alice Through the Looking Glass” and “Sleeping Beauty.” His films have played at Cannes, Sundance and Toronto. His latest directorial project is “Lonestar Hitman.” Currently in development, this feature film is based on the true-life story of Dixie Mafia hit man Sonny Vickers. Nunzio, a classically trained Opera singer, studied under the legendary Gina Maretta.
